Dr. Ntuba Thompson Akwo, as Chair for the Health Committee of South West Elites Association Cameroon, has extensive experience in promoting health among minority groups. He has successfully applied health promotion strategies in partnering with minority groups in the USA, working with African Americans in the Congressional Black Caucus in Washington DC, during the annual legislative conference and the National conferences of the NAACP, and with local government authorities in multiple cities. Dr. Thompson Akwo has also worked with the Congressional Hispanic Institute during their annual conferences in Washington DC and local communities. He has been involved with the Urban League USA that addresses health equity issues.
