As the chief editor of Healthndevelopment magazine and media and a national support expert for COVID-19 response, I had the privilege of attending biweekly COVID-19 response meetings with Director-General of WHO, Dr. Tedros, and Dr. Ryan among others to discuss the eight pillars of global preparedness and response. The emphasis on risk communication and community engagement was a key aspect in our discussions.
As the national COVID-19 response coordinator, was dedicated to ensuring that the USA have the resources and strategies in place to effectively manage the crisis. Working with Dr. Anthony Fauci and the CDC, as well as the association of governors, we are building a comprehensive response plan that will help mitigate the spread of COVID-19 and reduce its impact on our communities. We understand the challenges associated with this pandemic, and are committed to finding innovative solutions that will offer hope and support to those in need.

At covid 19 preparedness and response locally, we were committed to helping communities navigate the challenges presented by covid 19. We understood that the response to the pandemic is complex, and that there are many factors at play. That's why work was closely done with county judges and governors to develop customized strategies that work for each community. During the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic, Health Consulting International travelled to Austin, Texas to provide assistance and support. Our team, consisting of Dr. Ntuba Akwo Thompson and Mr. Michael Womack, worked closely with local authorities to assess the preparedness and response in Texas. We had the honor of working alongside the Houston Fire Department under Chief Samuel Penna during the COVID-19 pandemic, and we were proud to contribute to their efforts in PPE drives, testing, and communication in Spanish for the local community and fire employees. Our partnership with the Houston Fire Department is one of the many ways we continue to prioritize the well-being of our community.

We have also been addressing the problems of vaccine hesitancy and the infodemic that can complicate decisions around vaccination. Our goal was to provide accurate information that helped guide individuals and families in making the best decision for their health and safety during those challenging times. As a healthcare professional and director of Health Consulting International, I am committed to helping individuals and organizations prepare for and respond to this pandemic. Recently, I had the opportunity to meet with local school district superintendents and counselors at Dallas City Hall to discuss our response plans. I am pleased to report that Mayor Erick and associates, along with representatives from the Texas Medical Association, are taking this pandemic seriously and have put measures in place to protect the health of our community. As a health and development consultant, I believe that it's crucial to work together with local organizations and leaders to ensure that communities are prepared and protected during such a challenging time. I have been working closely with organizations in Detroit Michigan to provide support and resources to those in need, and to educate people about COVID-19 safety measures and vaccinations.

I had the honor of working with Harris County Judge Hildago and commissioners during the fight against Corona Virus, and it was an incredible experience. Their dedicated efforts played an instrumental role in combating Corona Virus, and it was a privilege to be part of such a great cause.

Dr. Sha, the director of Harris County Public Health, played a critical role in the fight against COVID-19 in Houston. His expertise in preparedness and response was invaluable to the city. His leadership was so exceptional that he was offered the position of head of the Washington State Health Department, where he continued his efforts on a statewide level.
