As the chief editor of Healthndevelopment magazine and media and a national support expert for COVID-19 response, I had the privilege of attending biweekly COVID-19 response meetings with Director-General of WHO, Dr. Tedros, and Dr. Ryan among others to discuss the eight pillars of global preparedness and response. The emphasis on risk communication and community engagement was a key aspect in our discussions.
As the national COVID-19 response coordinator, was dedicated to ensuring that the USA have the resources and strategies in place to effectively manage the crisis. Working with Dr. Anthony Fauci and the CDC, as well as the association of governors, we are building a comprehensive response plan that will help mitigate the spread of COVID-19 and reduce its impact on our communities. We understand the challenges associated with this pandemic, and are committed to finding innovative solutions that will offer hope and support to those in need.
